Description

Create something uniquely your own in this fun and relaxing Introduction to Junk Journaling class! Learn how to turn everyday and recycled materials into beautiful, personalized journals using collage, layering, and simple mixed-media techniques. No artistic experience is needed—just a willingness to explore your creativity. Students are encouraged to bring items that have personal meaning or interesting textures and designs, such as stickers, old magazines, greeting cards, photographs (or copies), gift wrap, maps, tickets, envelopes, fabric scraps, ribbon, paper packaging, candy wrappers, labels, receipts, and other paper treasures. Come discover how ordinary keepsakes can become extraordinary works of art in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Material fee: $15 Please be prepared to pay this fee directly to the instructor IN CASH ONLY on the first night of class.
